History

Shamic Sheetmetal commenced operation in 1978 as a fully Australian owned and managed small family business, manufacturing sheetmetal products. Under the leadership of its Managing Director, the company quickly gained a reputation for providing quality Sheetmetal parts and products for a wide range of customers. From the small producer to large national and multinational companies requiring local manufacturing capacity, Shamic was soon covering product manufacture for clients as diverse as the motor vehicle, electronic & computer, whitegoods, electrical H/V, telecommunications, security and automated vending machine industries. It was this diverse nature that led Shamic in 1985 to commence the manufacturing of woodheaters and hence acquired the rights to a range of well-known heater brands between 1998 and 2001. With Shamic now aquiring its own "Product Range" of woodheaters to manufacture & its continual comittment to its client listing & there capacity needs, Shamic had now outgrown its premises and in 1998 Shamic Sheetmetal moved to larger, purpose built manufacturing plant in Croydon, Melbourne Victoria. Gas heaters were added to the range in 2001.

We now manufacture and sell the full range of Arrow, Coonara and Heat Charm wood and gas heaters to all states, with over 370 distributors currently selling our heating products around Australia.
